The fourth-grade class attended Lavaca County Ag Day on October 8, 2024, in Seguin. This day is dedicated to making students aware of the importance of agriculture in both our past and our future. The students learned a multitude of topics associated with farming and ranching. They had a scavenger hunt in the garden looking for various plants for eating, medicine, and pollination. They learned about farm-specific animals for eating, working, and living. Stations attended included nutrition, the importance of pecans, cow milking, cotton, and crops just to name a few. This learning experience was enjoyed by all.
