On Friday, October 11, Coach John Patek arranged for MISD elementary students to compete in various races. The students enjoyed running, watching, and cheering. Thank you, Coach Patek, Coach Meisetschleager, and high school Cross Country runners for assisting during the races. Also, thank you goes out to Elizabeth Smolik and Shirley Dees for volunteering their time and setting up the hydration center. We are so proud of all the runners, and grateful to all of our faithful volunteers!
Message from the coach:
I wanted to congratulate all the winners and participants in this year's cross country meet! The kids have been training since the 2nd week of school and ran with a lot of pride and competitiveness. Each class was awarded a medal for the top 3 boys and top 3 girls. Each boy and girl also got a ribbon if they placed between 4th - 10tth place.
