Texas Elks Summer Camp
Texas Elks Camp is a FREE, therapeutic and recreational camp that offers fun-filled experiences to children with special needs that include field trips to amusement and water parks, arts and crafts, weekly dances, cookouts and a variety of outdoor games and activities. Our ration of counselors to campers is 1:2. We are a nonprofit organization and licensed by the Texas Department of Health. We can serve up to 240 campers per summer and 40 per session.
Any child with qualifying special needs or in foster care who is a Texas resident between the ages of 7 through 15 may apply.
Texas Elks Camp is located approximately 10 miles north of Gonzales on US Highway 183, next to Palmetto State Park in Ottine, Texas.

55 miles south of Austin
Texas Elks Camp offers six, one-week sessions beginning Sunday afternoon to Friday at 5:00 p.m. Each camper is eligible to attend for one week during the summer.

Session 2: June 21-26
Session 3: June 28-July 3
Session 4: July 12-17
Session 5: July 19-24
Session 6: July 26-31

To apply for camp, parents may visit our website at www.texaselkscamp.com. Applications will be available beginning January 2, 2020. Texas Elks Camp accepts children on a first come, first serve basis.
