New staff 2024-25

Brandi Behlen

Hello! My name is Brandi Behlen. I am from Gonzales, TX. The last two years I taught at Bastrop ISD but am so excited to be closer to home here in Moulton for this upcoming school year as a Special Education Teacher.

From an early age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. The joy of learning and the excitement of discovery always fueled my curiosity, and I was determined to share that passion with others. Now, as a third-year teacher, I am living my dream, dedicated to fostering a love of learning in my students.

In my first year of teaching, I quickly learned that education is not just about imparting knowledge; it's about building relationships and understanding the unique needs of each student. I take pride in tailoring my lessons to cater to diverse learning styles and making my classroom a place where students are encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow from their experiences.

Each day, I strive to ignite a sense of wonder and curiosity in my students, just as my teachers did for me. As I continue to grow in my profession, I remain committed to continuous learning, always seeking new ways to inspire and support my students. Teaching is not just a job for me; it's a lifelong passion and a calling that I am honored to fulfill. Go Bobkatz!

Broussard

My name is Cody Broussard. I am one of the new history teachers and coaches. I graduated from Moulton in 2020 and proceeded to get my BA at University of Houston-Victoria. I am very excited and thankful for this opportunity. It is great to be back!

John Hoelter

My name is John Hoelter, I am married, have 2 grown step kids and 6 grandchildren, live in Shiner and have been a teacher/coach for 40 years. I grew up In Alaska and played 2 years of college football and 4 years of college baseball. I retired in 2017 but have been teaching/coaching part time the past 7 years. I had the opportunity to get back into it full time, and Moulton ISD became the perfect fit. I will be coaching softball and JH track, along with teaching PE, health and content mastery. I am looking forward to being a part of the Bobkat family and a great 2024-2025 school year!!
