At the school board meeting on January 16,2025, the principals awarded their Katz and Kittens Award of Excellence to students and staff members. Victoria Ortiz presented the student award to Savannah Galvan and the staff award to Melissa Berchenhoff. Penny Irwin presented the student awards to Madison Machart and Vicent Obregon and the staff award to Brandi Behlen. Both principals expressed their admiration and appreciation for these outstanding staff members and students. MISD is so very lucky to have them!
